Population: The preliminary estimate of the global population is 282-593 thousand individuals. In Kazakhstan, it is a common, rare breeding migratory bird in some places, there is no data on the total number.
Status. Non-endangered species with economic value other than hunting
Habitat. It breeds in the Urals, in the Naurzum, along the Irtysh, as well as throughout the southern half of Kazakhstan. It is found everywhere on the fly. It lives in floodplain forests, pine islands in the steppe, and the valley of the Ile River.
