Population: Common species. About 10 thousand individuals live in Kazakhstan.

Habitat. It is distributed across the north-west and north-central part of Mongolia, in the north of Xinjiang inChina, in the Altai Mountain forests of Russia and Kazakhstan, and in the Sayans and the Baikal region in Siberia.
