Status. A rare and insufficientlystudied species (Category IV).
Habitat. Found in Southern Mangyshlak, the Talas, Kyrgyz, and Ile Alatau, as well as the Karatau and Shu-Ile Mountains. In Southern Mangyshlak, it is found in the Kendirli-Kayasan Plateau area, near the Elshibek well, and on the Zhabaiushkan escarpment. In the Talas Alatau, it is found in the Aksu-Sairam interfluve; in the Ile Alatau, in the western foothills of Zhetyzholand Kastek; and in the Kyrgyz Alatau, in the gorges of Kokdonen, Aspara, Merke,Karakystak, Karakat, Sarybulak, and Chyngur.
